Club Championships for Drivers and Navigators 2006

Art. 1 Announcement

Enniskillen Motor Club Limited will promote Club Championships for Drivers and Navigators as published in these regulations.

Art. 2 Eligible competitors

Only fully elected members of Enniskillen Motor Club Limited who have paid their 2006 subscription may score points within the Championships.

Art. 2A Junior Drivers Championship

Any fully paid up member of Enniskillen Motor Club Ltd who is registered for the championship and was born on or after the 1 January 1981 will be eligible to compete in the Junior Drivers Championship for the Mark Fisher Memorial Award.

Art. 3 Eligible events

The Championships will consist of the following events:-

  • 31 March Erne Safari Navigation Rally #
  • 1 May Bennett's 1 hour photo Stages Rally
  • 22 July Carn Quarry Autocross***
  • 9 September Lakeland Stages Rally
  • 14 October Clubman's Stages Rally

Note; Event marked *** will count towards the Drivers' Championship only.

Event marked # will count towards Co Drivers championship only.

Art. 4 Awards

For each Championship, the winning competitor will receive an award. Championship awards will be presented at the annual dinner.

Art. 5 Points scoring

Points will be awarded on a class basis only, as follows:-

Drivers' Championship; all scores to count.

Junior Driver's Championship; points scored in the overall drivers championship will be transferred to the Junior Championship.

Navigators' Championship; all scores to count.

In the event of a tie, the competitor with the greater number of class wins will be deemed to be the winner. If this fails to resolve a tie, then the greater number of class second places will be taken into account and so on until the tie is resolved.

Art. 6 Adjudication

The following panel will adjudicate on the interpretation of these Regulations; Austin Frazer, Drew Wilson and Keith Boyd. Their decision will be final and no appeal against a decision by them in respect of the Championships will be entertained.

Championship tables will be updated after each event and displayed at signing-on for the next event or on request from the championship registrar by e-mail at roblor.simpson@btopenworld.com or 028 66329469 between 7.00pm and 10.00pm.
